"Across the Road" Update 20th May

Earthworks have started on what will be the new 14th Tee and screening mounds 

The turf off the old 14th and 15th Greens have been transported to their new homes at Flagstaff Hill Golf Club

"Across the Road" Update 22nd May

14th Tees are taking shape along with the new screening mounds. The soil of the old 16th Green is some of the best so it has been harvested to be utilised for the surrounds and tees.

The stripping of the old 15th Green is taking place and the 14th fairway bunker has been stripped ready for shaping.

Update "Across the Road" 6th June

Things are really starting to take shape on the new 14th Hole - Irrigation is across the road and halfway up the fairway with the tee completed - Trenching has encountered some rock as expected however is progressing on track.

The fairway Bunker and Greenside bucker are almost complete with the final shaping of the green taking place next week along with the new fairway carry.

15th Tee is also looking great, and the 15th Green complex will start soon.

The SLGC team has also completed part of the new path around the 13th Green

Across the Road - 13th June - Rock and Irrigation

Hard work this week getting all the irrigation in - especially with the amount of rock but good progress is being made

Across the Road Update - 27th June

The new 14th Hole has taken shape and it moments away from completion. Irrigation is on and turf will be laid in the next few weeks.

The new 15th Hole is also coming along with the irrigation halfway down the hole, fairway bunker complete and shaping up of the greenside bunkers and green complex materializing.

By the end of next week we should be moving on to the next project which will be the 10th Tees and then the new short game practice facilities. 



Update - 18th July

Across the road is almost ready for the greens to be seeded - 15th Tee will be laser levelled next week along with remaining turfing. All irrigation works are now completed on these holes.

The 10th Tee will be levelled and turfed next week also.

The putting and Chipping Green complex is shaping up - irrigation will take place next week and this isn't far away from turf.
