Introduction

The South Lakes Golf Club is situated in the historic riverport of Goolwa, where the River Murray ends its journey to the Southern Ocean. Founded in 1966, the Club has developed into one of the best country golf clubs in South Australia. While its members own the Club, visitors are always welcome to enjoy all facilities. The friendly and relaxed atmosphere of the Club blends in well with its surrounds - sited between the River Murray and the ocean.

An Award Winning Club

As reward for the club's commitment to providing the best possible service and facilities, the South Lakes Golf Club has won the Fleurieu Tourism Award in 2000, 2001 and 2002 for the Best Sporting Club. The Club is recognised as an integral part of the tourism infrastructure in the area, as well as being a Club that supports the local community. South Lakes also received the Clubs SA Award for Excellence as the 2003 best regional club.
